Procurement Data Analyst
Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Procurement Data Analyst to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic procurement decisions. The Procurement Data Analyst will play a key role in analyzing procurement data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and optimizing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and organize procurement data from various sources including ERP systems, supplier databases, and purchasing platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness for analysis purposes.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to forecast demand, track supplier performance, and optimize inventory levels.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify areas of spending and opportunities for cost savings through negotiation, consolidation, and process optimization.
- Track procurement savings initiatives (PPV & Freight costs) and report on realized & potential savings to management.
- Develop dashboards and reports to visualize procurement metrics and performance indicators.
- Present findings and recommendations to procurement leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
?Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement analytics or a related role within the procurement or supply chain function.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Power Query, Excel, Power Automate, and data visualization software (Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- English is a must
- Experience with procurement systems (Oracle would be preferred).
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and category management principles and supply chain.
- Technical Knowledge in Big Data and SQL.
- Excel and Power BI is a must
