Description

Main responsibilities are:

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee the design and implementation of security controls and technologies.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Manage security incidents and coordinate responses to mitigate risks.
• Monitor and analyze security threats and trends to anticipate and prevent breaches.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business units to integrate cybersecurity into overall business operations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to cybersecurity staff.
• Evaluate and recommend security products, services, and vendors.
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity technologies and best practices to continuously improve the organisation's security posture.

Profile

Must:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in cybersecurity roles with progressively increasing responsibilities.
• Proficient in cybersecurity tools, technologies, and frameworks such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, etc.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cybersecurity.

Desirable:

• Degree in a relevant field in information technology
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications preferred.
