District Manager

 

Objective:

 

916 Foods is searching for an Operator capable of taking over an 8 store District with sales of 17 million dollars per year in the Waco Texas area. The district has operating metrics significantly below the 916 Foods average, it has recently been reinforced with two of the strongest Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) and will have to open a new restaurant within the next 8 months.

 

Candidate should demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, learning abilities and adaptability as this position is being reserved to develop a future Operations Director.

 

Studies & Experience

 

·       Bachelor's degree in engineering.

·       MBA or postgraduate studies.

·       Experience of 8 years minimum and 12 years maximum. At least 3 years Supervising 4-10 restaurant or retail stores. Experience coordinating multifunctional teams and doing project management. Experience in Oxxo, Alsea or Arcos Dorados strongly preferred.

·       90% bilingual

·       Valid USA tourist visa

·       Willingness and ability to relocate to the Waco Texas area.

                                                                                                                                    

Expectations 18-months

Candidate is expected to:

·       Complete certification as District Manager under the Wendy's protocol (3 months); and establish a positive and proactive relationship with all RGMs, fellow district managers and training manager.

·       Lead his direct reports (Restaurant General Managers) to raise operating performance and deliver at least average results in Team Turnover, Customer Satisfaction, Speed, Sales Growth and Controllable profit in no more than 12 months.

·       Achieve training restaurant certifications in 2 of stores under supervision and lead the successful opening of a new restaurant.

·       Coordinate execution of a company wide initiative. Examples could be: (a) upgrade HVAC equipments across the system, (b) Upgrade from analog to digital menu boards across the system (c) pilot the conversion of a restaurant to solar power.

 

Selection Criteria. Candidates would be rated and ranked based on:

·       Rationale to believe the candidate can deliver on the 18-month expectations.

·       Record of results and promotions within the same company.

·       Record as successful coach and people developer (examples of growth of direct reports).

·       Strong analytical and communication skills

Compensation

Annual base salary of $75,000 Dollars

Monthly Bonus that according to performance can vary from $0 to $2,000
