Major Responsibilities:


· Provide active leadership and strategic direction for evaluating short-term and long-term financial objectives aligned with the country's strategy.

· Cultivate and mentor a dynamic, high-performance team encompassing accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and insurance, ensuring meticulous adherence to corporate standards, regulatory compliance, and ethical practices.

· Champion the assessment and deployment of robust internal controls across all operational domains, including procurement, commercial activities, plant operations, financial reporting, and accounting. Innovate strategies for bolstering internal controls and driving the implementation of shared services within the organization.

· Oversee the meticulous preparation and integrity of the organization's financial statements, management, and regulatory reporting, fostering excellence through establishing effective internal controls.

· Offer expert counsel on strategic planning and decision-making processes for senior management. Develop and execute proactive financial, tax, and treasury strategies harmonizing with overarching strategic initiatives.

· Provide authoritative guidance on financial matters to managers, facilitating the development and execution of financial plans, interpretation of financial reports, and fulfillment of financial commitments.

· Evaluate and manage the financial viability of acquisitions, investments, capital expenditures, divestitures, mergers, and asset sales, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

· Formulate effective financing, cash management, and tax strategies to optimize financial resource utilization, reinforced by leadership from Woodridge's treasury and tax functions.

· Foster enduring relationships with financial institutions and analysts to sustain an insightful dialogue on market dynamics and organizational performance.

· Maintain a vigilant grasp of corporate tax laws and regulatory modifications that may impact business operations and management strategies.

· Oversee the external audit process and cultivate robust relationships to ensure comprehensive financial oversight and compliance.

· Ensure stringent adherence to fiscal responsibilities and prompt, appropriate responses to requests from relevant government authorities.

· Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies that align with operational needs, emphasizing cost-efficiency, quality, and service excellence.

· This role will oversee Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Purchasing functions, ensuring seamless coordination and strategic alignment across these areas.


Requirements


· BA (or “Licenciatura”) in Accounting, Finance, or related areas. An MBA is a plus.

· Fully bilingual, English / Spanish.

· 10+ years of experience in executive financial roles in manufacturing, ideally in the automotive sector.

· Strong experience in planning, budgeting, and policy management.

· Experience managing and/or reporting in a global matrix organization.

· Proven competencies in leading and developing teams.

· Experience with COEs and/or Shared Services.


· Experience dealing with global financial institutions and foreign exchange
