The position we are looking for is:

SENIOR STRATEGIC PLANNING ANALYST

As a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc, you will be responsible to build and publish Micron's monthly S&OP plan in accordance with corporate strategies and priorities. This plan must be optimized across various constraints and priorities of Global Operations, Business Units, Corporate Strategy, and Finance.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor's in business or industrial engineering or Supply Chain management and Bachelor in Engineering - 3-5 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain, Business Planning or Shared Services Consultancy. 

·        Full professional English competence.

·        Critical thinking skills – helps in navigating through ambiguous situations and helps to formulate opinions / conclusions.

·        Proven innovation skills – helps in developing new business processes to improve / streamline the way things are done.

·        Collaboration – we work as a Team enabling one another's success to support the business.

·        Ownership – assume ownership of certain projects by being a subject matter expert (SME) and drive those projects to completion.

·        Negotiation – ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders while maintaining good work relationships.

Responsibilities:

·        Highlight and drive resolution to planning issues associated with compiling the S&OP Plan that include: excess and shortage to projected inventory targets; gaps between roadmap strategy, manufacturing capability, and market demands

·        Partner with Global Operations and Strategic Supply Planning to develop factory network and loading strategies

·        Collaborate with Global Operations to analyze and publish updates to manufacturing boundary conditions and their impacts to Micron's revenue plan

·        Root cause gaps between supply capability and bottoms up supply/demand match

·        Build, solve, and communicate impacts of various what-if scenarios for executive approval

·        Collaborate with Finance to analyze consolidated revenue, margin, and capex impacts of plan changes

·        Drive improvement to process effectiveness and efficiency metrics

·        Collaborate with GSM, Manufacturing, R&D, Product engineering teams to collect and analyze impact of yield, quality, technology adjustments, and roadmap changes

·        Identify process inefficiencies/conflicts, and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement efforts to address the gaps

·        Ensure forecast updates are completed accurately and in accordance with published deadlines 

·        Ensure the unconstrained and constrained consensus inputs are aligned with established business unit targets and objectives

·        Highlight and review key changes in the unconstrained demand forecast and supporting assumptions

·        Optimize constrained consensus across various constraints and priorities of Global Operations, Sales, Business Units, Corporate Strategy and Finance
