NETWORK ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

·        Implement, configure, and manage monitoring tools across various network segments.

·        Develop and maintain Selenium scripts for end-to-end transaction monitoring.

·        Analyze network performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.

·        Collaborate with network, IT, and application teams to enhance network visibility and troubleshoot complex issues.

·        Design custom alerts and dashboards within Monitoring Tools for real-time network intelligence.

·        Conduct root cause analysis of network incidents and provide actionable insights for resolution.

·        Stay updated with the latest network technologies and Monitoring Tools features to continuously improve our network monitoring capabilities.

·        Work with teams to package and deploy Monitoring Tools endpoint software to PC and MAC workstations including managing licensing.

·        Assistance with opening of trouble tickets with local telco vendors in both Mexico and Argentina

Communication with the Business Partners in Mexico to obtain a clear definition of any issues and able to communicate same to the team for troubleshooting of issues.

·        Provide onsite assistance for the Avaya equipment in the Patriotismo Office as well as Cisco CUCM PBX in the Puerto Polanco office to act as eyes and hands onsite.

Avaya PBX – Being phased out this year.

Skill and Qualifications

·        Proficiency in scripting for automation and monitoring, specifically with Selenium, JavaScript, and Python.

·        Experience working with API integrations for custom tooling and automation.

·        Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable.

·        Experience with network monitoring tools.

·        Strong foundation in network principles and technologies (CCNA, CCNP, Firewall or equivalent experience preferred).

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address network issues.

·        Knowledge working with VMware and physical server hardware.

·        Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work across different teams, external vendors, and articulate technical concepts clearly.

·        Management experience with Active Directory, Modern Management for PC, and MAC platform management are desired.  

·        Experience working with ServiceNow, ITIL
