Descripción

The Spare Parts Specialist has the primary responsibility of ensuring material availability to support the customer orders. Assist customers in obtaining the correct Spare Parts for Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) equipment, utilizing the appropriate manufacturers' manuals and other resources. Generate parts and service orders. Other responsibilities include managing inventory levels, supporting material/product level revisions.


Location: Lote 20 y 21, ubicado en la calle Bernardo Reyes, Parque Industrial "MARTEL III", en el Municipio de Santa Catarina, Nuevo León

Responsibilities

  • Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule/inventory changes.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers for the procurement of production material as required by forecast and the production schedule.
  • Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials, including timely resolution, communication, and mitigation of future potential problems.
  • Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive.
  • Manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns and quality problems.
  • Provide back-up support for supply chain functions including shipping, receiving, material handling and other duties as assigned.
  • Process orders from customers in our Erp system and ensure follow-up until Spare Parts are delivered.
  • Quotes to customers and delivery times for spare parts.
  • Spare Parts orders in the System.
  • RMAs as needed.
  • up with customers and departments (purchase, supply chain, warehouse) on offers, quotes and orders to maximize sales and close service orders.
  • reports in ERP system: RMA and parts shipping delays, etc.
  • Customer data (e.g. contact, serial number, machine information)
  • Initiate Warranty Claims as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or related area.
  • Expert applied knowledge of forecasting, MRP, transportation, supply chain, inventory management and warehousing disciplines.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite – advanced skills with MS Excel.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Bilingual Required – English/Spanish.
