This pivotal role is responsible for leading the implementation of the SEN strategy across multiple campuses, ensuring that students with additional learning needs receive the necessary support to succeed academically and personally for the upcoming school year (2025 - 2026).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Languages: ADVANCED ENGLISH
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- Previous experience as an SEN Coordinator or in a similar role (preferred).
- Proven experience in leading SEN teams and managing SEN provision in educational settings.
- In-depth knowledge of current SEN practices, policies, and legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple campuses.
- A degree in Special Educational Needs, Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to fostering an inclusive school culture.
JOB OBJECTIVES
To lead and manage the SEN teams across campuses, ensuring the effective implementation of SEN strategies, providing high-quality support for students with additional learning needs, and promoting an inclusive and collaborative educational environment.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Develop and oversee the SEN strategy and policy within the school.
- Lead and manage the teams of counselors and IPAL Coaches at each campus, ensuring the effective implementation of support plans.
- Lead on the identification of students with special educational needs and coordinate appropriate support strategies.
- Lead our work with parents and guardians to ensure alignment between home and school strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers to differentiate instruction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN interventions and adjust them as needed.
- Train and support staff in inclusive education practices and strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students receiving SEN support.
- Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and best practices in special education.
- Advocate for students with special needs and foster an inclusive school culture.
- Work collaboratively with academic coordinators and campus directors to ensure the integration of students with SEN across all areas of the curriculum.
