Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) is a distributed team that is accountable for many of the IT tools and services that directly give to the efficiency of our AstraZeneca colleagues.
We partner locally with more than 60 global business sites for service delivery and IT experience and are accountable for all infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, and end-user services and technologies.
ETS also leads many of the large IT contracts at AZ and partners with large organizations on behalf of AZ to deliver value and innovation through new and existing capabilities and services.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities of Role:
The main responsibility will be working on proactive-reactive Incidents/SR/changes/SIP related to Network and Network security technologies (Switching/Routing/Firewall/LB/Cloud)
• Need to be a domain guide for handling any P1/P2 incidents or critical changes.
• Detailing knowledge articles for critical incident/change
• Will be accountable for meeting the delivery targets set by management
• Responsible for ensuring that delivery is within and better than prescribed SLA levels and helping establish processes for continuous service improvement.
• Resolve incidents/problems/Changes according to established procedures
• Work proactively to ensure timely resolution of support cases & the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction along with minimal production impact
• Monitoring of Network availability, performance, and initial triage of related incidents.
• Capture metrics via monitoring, identify trends, and provide reports indicating levels of process compliance
• Capture events through supervising tools and processes; coordinate event response across all network Technology solutions and environments. Ensure accurate issue customer concern and effective incident resolution.
• Work on Service improvement activities and complete them within the target dates.
• Providing automation solutions to benefit the network operations team.
• Build policies and procedures related to the Networking environment
Essential Skills/Experience:
• 4+ yoe performing various tasks in Network Operations center & Hands-on Enterprise Network Fix.
• Shown Understanding of Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Zone based Firewall, Firepower, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto
• Knowledge in Switching technologies - Cisco 9300/9500, StackWise-virtual, Nexus - 9K,7K, 5K, 2K, VPC, FEX, Cisco VSS
• Validated understanding in Routing & WAN technologies: Handling Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Troubleshooting
Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Implementing Routing Protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc
• Wireless: Cisco WLC, Cisco Prime, Ruckus
• Proxy: Knowledge of Zscaler proxy, PAC file changes, and building/setting up private proxy nodes. Troubleshooting Zscaler ZPA etc.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
• Load Balancer: Knowledge of Netscaler, AWS VPC networking work experience
• Good understanding of the DevOps environment
• Scripting: Basic understanding of one of the scripting languages Python, shell scripting. Any projects done in this scripting language will be an added advantage
• Knowledge or work experience in Cisco ACI, and Cisco Software-Defined WAN is added advantage
