Medical Affairs Strategy Oncology
Major Tasks
• Develop and implement the medical affairs strategy for the oncology portfolio in alignment with corporate outcomes. Establish clear direction for handling all emerging new medical/scientific information (create/guide team to develop a unified information-handling approach through educational programs, speaker trainings, advisory boards) to disseminate scientific data and ensure patient safety, fomenting the right use of our products.
• Lead the medical review and approval of all advertising, promotional, and sales training materials. Serve as the Medical Affairs representative on the LMR (Legal, Medical, Regulatory) team for assigned products and/or Oncology Product Squad. Provide expert scientific guidance and leadership in the planning and execution of clinical trials, observational studies, and real-world evidence initiatives, including IIR, ISC.
• Foster strategic engagement with TLs by cultivating robust networks and leveragingactionable competitive intelligence. In this medical manager role, drive cross-functional collaboration to align medical strategies with overall corporate outcomes.
• Strengthen collaboration with our sales force (KPS) to align medical strategies with commercial objectives. This partnership ensures that clinical insights and market intelligence inform targeted training initiatives, optimize product positioning, and drive both sales performance and patient outcomes.
• Identified needs in the squad to identified and collaborate in the training programs, development and implementation through external speakers support to cover sales force needs, MSLs and other internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring consistency of processes, standards of practice, operational transparency, team skills, internal and external engagement and assertive communication to contribute to achievement of the Partnerships goals.
• Actively engage with Medical Societies and Patient Associations to pinpoint critical medical gaps, gain comprehensive insights into patient journeys, and identify unmet needs, thereby driving proactive, innovative solutions that enhance patient outcomes. Supporting PSP programs in the squad.
Skills.
• Medical degree or Advanced degree in Medicine
• + 2 years of experience leading the strategy of a highly specialized product/portfolio
• Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication
• Excellent project management ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Regulatory knowledge is required
• Ability to critically evaluate clinical papers
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to build productive work relationships both internally and externally
• Desirable experience in clinical research according
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Highly organized
• Strong leadership ability
• English proficiency at least 80%
