Descripción
A. Facilitate the daily workforce performance.
B. Coordinate production activities with supporting groups to ensure production objectives.
C. Ensure customers satisfaction by providing on-time delivery and quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Guide staff personnel on daily production status.
B. Promote Standardize work methods and ways to improve them.
C. Provide and implement training to staff and BPs to improve their performance.
D. Implement continuous improvement culture.
E. Coordinate and maintain administrative records regarding attendance, over time equalization, vacation, and training.
F. Conduct weekly department meetings with employees to review objectives and activities of the area.
G. Provide resources for training new associates.
H. Support supervisors in determining personnel heeds.
I. Initiate and coordinate capital projects for their proposal, approval & implementation.
J. Manages and control Budget to assure the procurement of the required products & services for the proper operation.
K. Initiate and coordinate assistance as required from support departments.
L. Support daily production schedules with materials planning
M. Monitor machinery, equipment and facility for maintenance as required, to ensure efficiency and safe working conditions
N. Promote continuous improvement and standardization across the plant and organization.
O. Provide the best manufacturing solutions for production process by benchmarking within and outside the company for proper selection of machinery, equipment and technology available.
P. Implement, promote and maintain a safe work environment by a culture of accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and rules application. Identify, control and manage the risk and hazards into your own area.
Q. Promote the vision of the company by an active support of the values, principles and ethics of Eaton as well as quality policies.
R. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effective process of rewards and recognition achieving desired behaviors and results.
Qualifications:
A. Engineering degree or related fields required.
B. 3 – 5 years´ experience in manufacturing processes (environment preferably automotive).
C. Basic knowledge of national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and policies such as ISO 14001, MESH and/or applicable regional initiatives.
D. English – language capability, speaking, reading & writing required
E. Broad technical knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, plant engineering, production/materials planning, maintenance needs and systems application
F. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.
G. Strong leadership skills, must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.

A. This position requires some travel.
B. It requires the use management skills, act as a liaison for associates at all levels.
