Management Trainee, Junior Buyer – Master Shopper
Responsibilities
· Understands Procurement of goods and services. Obtains quotation, develops proposals and/or negotiates contracts of low value/risk consistent with client requirements.
· Supports the delivery of tactical buying activity for operational planned spend opportunities within defined operational spend levels
· Manage transactional buying desk activities and raising purchase orders
· Quotation analysis and recommendations, consideration suitability/reliability of suppliers to meet operational requirements and as per Client Procurement Policy/Sourcing guidelines.
· Negotiate with Suppliers on Commercial Clauses as per guidance
· Obtain approval from Client Category Manager on finalized projects
· Record Savings in the Client Savings Data Base
· Engagement with operational teams to review pipeline and track savings opportunities
· Work closely with onshore procurement team and business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements, strategic benefits and compliance to existing procurement contracts
· Should be able to manage internal / external customers & stake holders
· Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
· Experience of operational and tactical buying and procurement as part of the overall procurement strategy, and supporting procurement process like Purchase Order (PO) preparation, amendment, issuance and follow up with the suppliers to ensure accurate and on-time delivery
· Domain : Purchasing Experience (Indirect spend)
· Systems & Tools : Hands on experience on Coupa (preference) /ARIBA or similar systems for procurement / CRM tools. MS Office.
· Language: English and Spanish
· Core/General Business: Ability of negotiating with suppliers, Good Problem solving Ability, Strong focus on Accuracy and Timeline, Good Verbal and written Communication skills, Team player, high motivation, positive, can-do attitude, flexibility; Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

· Supplier Management experience
· Personal effectiveness; Energetic and self motivated
· Ability to use influencing techniques
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
· Ability to manage change effectively; uses straightforward and constructive arguments to gain buy-in from others
· Strong analytical and financial skills Demonstrated success working in a team environment
· Exercises sound judgement on day to day business problems and provides recommendations for solving course correction
· Ability to act on own initiative
· Communicates clearly and with an inclusive style
· Collaborative and cross cultural
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
· Strong analytical skills; MS Excel capability and ability to do build cost and saving models with multiple “What If” scenarios
· Strong organizational skills
