Job Overview:
A Global Company is seeking a Record to Report (RTR) Manager to lead financial close activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This key role will drive process transformation, enforce regulatory standards, and enhance the organization's financial scalability.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Close and Reporting Oversight:
?? Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
?? Oversee financial statement preparation and regulatory filings in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.
?? Ensure accuracy in intercompany accounting and reconciliations across global entities.
Account Reconciliation and Maintenance:
?? Implement standardized reconciliation processes and resolve discrepancies.
?? Conduct root-cause analysis on reconciliation variances and implement preventive measures.
Compliance and Governance:
?? Ensure RTR processes comply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
?? Lead internal and external audits, addressing queries and implementing corrective actions.
Process Optimization and Transformation:
?? Drive automation and standardization initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
?? Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to optimize financial close and reporting tools.
Team Leadership and Development:
?? Build and manage a high-performing RTR team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
?? Set performance goals and provide mentorship for continuous development.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
?? Act as the primary liaison between RTR and internal/external stakeholders.
?? Provide strategic insights to senior leadership on financial performance and process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience:?
?? 10+ years of experience in RTR processes, including financial close, consolidation, and reconciliation operations.
?? Strong knowledge of US GAAP, inventory accounting, and financial reporting standards.
?? Hands-on experience with financial consolidation tools (OneStream).
?? Proficiency in multiple ERP systems and process automation.
?? Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving financial transformations.
?? Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in global environments.
?? Experience managing global transition projects and cross-functional relationships.
