Your new role
The Demand Planning Lead is responsible for creating a rolling 12 month forecast for everyday core brands within the wholesale sales channel. This role leads key S&OP meetings to develop the monthly demand consensus and evaluates forecast accuracy or bias gaps, proposing and implementing corrective actions as needed. The Demand Planning Lead provides input and reporting to weekly cross-functional Sales & Operations Execution meetings, leading continuous improvements in process, systems, and communication with cross-functional stakeholders. The role provides forecast inputs for new product commercialization projects and manage innovation forecasts collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, and Category Management teams. Additionally, the Demand Planning Lead participates in and represents the supply chain in new product development meetings. The position coordinates excess inventory with Sales and address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner. This role also focuses on team development in timely communication, analytics, demand planning principles, setting and achieving goals, workload prioritization, and performance coaching. Moreover, the Demand Planning Lead maintains functional master data for effective system use, ensuring seamless operations across the board.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- +8 years in Demand Planning area for FMCG.
- +2 years of S&OP meetings leadership.
- Solid demonstrated knowledge of supply chain theory, planning systems and related processes
- Proficiency using Demand Planning software systems and Inventory Management tools.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical, forecasting, problem solving, and detail orientation, financial acumen and ability to propose and implement innovative solutions.
- Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office, including demonstrable skills in databases, spreadsheets, and presentation of insights in PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated planning, organization, and decision-making skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Experience fostering relationships, influencing others, and working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive results.
- SAP know how.
- Advanced English.
