Inaddition to, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, andoptimizing DCS system virtualization deployments, and networking engineeringrelated to the Operational Technology for Industrial facilities in the AmericasRegion including North America and LATAM. Your expertise in virtualization, networkarchitecture, wireless technologies, and security industrial solutions will becrucial in ensuring the seamless operation and integration of these systems.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely withcustomers to deliver innovative solutions that meet their specificrequirements.
You will report directly to our Mexico Projects &Automation Solutions Global Engineering Services Leader and work out of ourdesignated location in Mexico City as based location and work out at Customersites supporting primarily Americas Region as well. The work schedule for thisrole is Hybrid, when not travelling or not working at customer industrial sites.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on ourorganization by:
- Creating and Defining Project Specifications and others EngineeringDocuments for Designing and implementing Virtualization deployments, networkarchitectures for DCS Systems, industrial intrusion systems, access controlsystems, CCTV, virtualization deployments, and other related technologies
- Optimizing network performance, scalability, andreliability for these systems
- Conducting network assessments and troubleshooting issuesto ensure uninterrupted connectivity and system integration
- Collaborating with customers to understand theirnetworking and wireless requirements and providing tailored solutions
- Staying updated with the latest networking and wirelesstechnologies to drive innovation within the organization
- Working closely with Global teams and SME to enhance your skillsand support projects and to provide improvements to enhance Global teams
Key Responsibilities• Designing and implementing network architectures forindustrial intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, virtualizationdeployments, and other related technologies
• Optimizing network performance, scalability, andreliability for these systems
• Conducting network assessments and troubleshooting issues
• Collaborating with customers to understand theirnetworking and wireless requirements
• Staying updated with the latest networking and wirelesstechnologies
• Travel to Customer Industrial Facilities in the wholeAmericas Region including North America and LATA, to implement ProjectEngineering, supporting commissioning activities and troubleshooting andoptimizing Online and Offline systems
YOU MUST HAVE• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, OperationalTechnology, or a related field
• Mexico Professional License Number
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom and securitysystems integration, network engineering or wireless engineering
• Strong knowledge of telecom technologies, security systems,network architecture, wireless technologies, and security measures
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Availability to travel to customer industrial sites forimplementing Projects for short term periods or long-term Periods depending onscope of work.
• Strong self-learning behavior and passion for delivering highquality results aligned to Quality Management Systems.
WE VALUE• Master's degree in Telecommunications, OperationalTechnology, or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, orequivalent
• Switches and Routers configuration & troubleshooting
• Experience with industrial intrusion systems, accesscontrol systems, CCTV, virtualization deployments, and related technologies • Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
