Product Engineer

Job Summary:

Product engineers are responsible for optimizing product production. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, cost-effectiveness and manufacturability. Product engineers also solve design and production issues to ensure products meet customer requirements while driving continuous improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Stable product performance and continuous improvement

Discuss improvements to existing products with Taiwan team to improve performance, cost efficiency and manufacturability.

Manufacturability and Process Optimization

Work with manufacturing teams to ensure that products can be efficiently and consistently produced.

Identify and implement design improvements to reduce manufacturing complexity and costs.

Support production teams in resolving technical challenges related to product design.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a liaison between R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure product goals are met.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting

Analyze customer feedback and field data to identify product performance issues.

Implement corrective actions and design modifications to address problems.

Conduct root cause analysis and apply engineering principles to resolve challenges.

Continuous Improvement

Drive initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and reliability.

Suggest and implement cost-saving measures without compromising product integrity.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including product specifications, test reports, and change records.

Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding product performance and development status.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in product engineering, product design, or a related role.

Fluent Verbal Inglish

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials selection.

Knowledge of testing procedures and regulatory standards relevant to the industry.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Communication Skills: Ability to efficiently answer the customer questions in fluent English. .
