Our key contribution to society is to help clinicians and those who support them provide state-of-the-art medical care.
Our primary business purpose is to help clients and supporters increase the effectiveness of activities pertaining to scientific communication, medical education and the maintenance of clinician audience intimacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting main strategic accounts through building strong relationships with primary contacts.
- Providing additional value to the client on details such as question and fielding advice, questionnaire finalization, timely responses to client inquiries and management of client expectations around project timelines and scope.
- T1 sales. Growing Medefield's sales with existing Tier 1 clients, working closely with the Sales consultant in supporting the sales effort by:
- Building strong client relationships by providing the client with information and advice that they value; attending client meetings and project-kick-off meetings (with SC and PD).
- In coordination with the Sales consultant or independently, identify new sales opportunities on T1 clients and, where appropriate, closing the sale with the client and gaining approval to move forward with the project.
- Project Bidding. Evaluating client proposal requests and work with internal resources to prepare proposals for Medefield's Quant and research services both for Key Accounts.
- Service knowledge. Understand, communicate and sell the entire Medefield product line, ensuring clients and prospects are aware of Medefield's full suite of services and that they consider fully Medefield for all of these services
- Value-add. Providing valued and insightful question design and fielding advice. On the questionnaire itself, working closely with the client to agree a signed-off questionnaire that is sufficiently well documented so as to be easily understood and interpreted by all relevant delivery teams
- Client updates. Take ownership of all client updates on project progress, identifying any issues and managing client expectations.
Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Demonstrated excellence in client interaction and project management
- Understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare market research process
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to write proposals to a high level
- Ability to build strong client relationships and to identify and communicate sales opportunities
- True team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced time management - prioritizing requests and tasks, ability to multitask
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years market research experience, pharmaceutical market research preferred
- Proven ability in managing client relationships
- Highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
