POSITION SUMMARY
The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall operation and strategy in the Marketing Team; promotions, events, trade shows, branding, ROI analysis, market analytics, development, Web and Social Media strategy, business development and business plans for Latin America & Caribbean. This market, with more than 26 Representatives and 15+ Top Accounts in Mexico is crucial for Silversea Cruises global growth. Works closely with the International Trade Marketing Teams, Sales Team, and other key departments, to ensure all the tools and resources are in place to increase revenue.
Through insight planning will drive site personalization and segmentation strategy to create relevant content in a web-based platform to unify market, knowledge, resources, and tools.
Responsible to meet Revenue and Pax annual goals assigned by Silversea.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Trade Marketing Team, divided into 6 pillars (Trade Engagement, Events & PR, Promotions & Trade Communications, Training and Development, Overall Branding and Reporting & analytics) will lead the annual marketing strategy and execution in the market.
- Lead the Marketing process and cross-functional team to ensure high quality and timely execution of campaigns, initiatives, and ad-hoc projects in the region.
- Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the sales and marketing initiatives across the countries and influence decision making to maximize exposure and ROI.
- Conduct on-going audits of local wave trends and educate corporate teams of Holiday impact on bookings (Easter, National Holidays, local Summer Vacations, Regional Holidays)
- Consolidates and becomes the expert of regional and market specific commercial data and intelligence.
- Overall support to AVP and Latin America's Team
- 15-20% International travel
- Trade Marketing Manager leads:

- Marketing Communications/Trade collateral: responsibility for briefing new campaigns and global promotions, requiring B2B or B2B2C adaptation. Creation of Trade or consumer facing flyers, Banners, POS, Copy and creative assets for Sales and partners.
- Trade Website: in charge of updating the content of current web, making sure all offers, company information and news are always up to date. Create, communicate and manage Silversea regional SM Channel and cooperate and audit Travel Partners SM initiatives.
- Social Media: Ownership of the B2B social media monthly content calendar and Silversea Travel Agents FB/IG page; writing posts, reply to messages as well as overseeing/audit all trade social media accounts.
- Travel Agency Sales and Marketing toolkit: day to day supervision of trade website where all our campaigns and brand templates are available for trade partners to download and use for local campaigns. Work closely with other departments to make sure the toolkit contains the most relevant information for the trade.
- Events: calendar management of all onboard and on-land function across the region to promote, reinforce and elevate brand exposure; not limited to Site inspections, Seminars at sea, virtual and presential events. Owner of annual Awards event. Overall support for other international events.
- Learning & Development: responsible for annual internal and external training plan to keep Sales Team and partners updated with all latest information and resources (concept, creation and execution)
- Public Relations & Media: liaison with PR to work with all corporate news as well opportunities to elevate brand presence.
- Trade Media and Advertising: based on agreed media plan work with agencies to create print advertising and ensure all deadlines are fulfilled.
- Trade Incentives and Initiatives: responsible to create and deploy annual sales incentives for Travel Partners and provide overall support/approvals for in-market initiatives.
- Analytics & Reporting: responsible for running monthly stats on trade campaign and digital performances (Trade website, email, social). Own weekly Sales & Marketing reports.
- Marketing Budget: The day-to-day management of the trade marketing budget by ensuring that brand exposure is raised. Work closely with Sales Support.
- SMF Management: (Sales Marketing Funds) co-own with Sales Support allotment, creating KPIs and evaluating the best possible marketing strategies in the market to maximize usage and measure effectiveness through return of investment done in Latin America & Caribbean.
- Ad Hoc Projects: variety of projects across the region.

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience working within a B2B and/or B2B2C marketing environment, preferably in travel industry.
- Educated to a degree level with a professional qualification in Marketing.
- Cruise industry experience is a plus.
- Past management experience
- Proven ability to manage and implement marketing initiatives.
- Experience developing strategic framework, planning, executing, and managing projects.
PERSONAL ATTITUDE AND SKILLS
- Fully bilingual: English/Spanish (Portuguese is a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills in order to interact with team members, vendors and all levels of employees and management, both shipboard and shoreside.
- Analytical and quantitative skills required to evaluate regional market intelligence; consolidates and effectively communicates market trends.
