Experience:

6 years in NPI and Product Engineering process (ECO, MCO, Configuration Mgmt). Important to know about BOM PCA/Top levels or Chassis structures (3rd level), Configuration management updates through Engineering Change Order (ECO) or Manufacturing Change Order (MCO), or even the Deviation process from the Customer. Experience working in Agile documentation control systems. Knowledge about the New Product Introduction process, leading continuous improvement teams, customer conference calls, NPI preparation Checklist, pilot calendars, Gantt projects, being in charge of one Customer as a product engineer, and also experience managing product engineer technicians.

Knowledge:

Manufacturing Engineering Mgmt : Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the staff. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products. Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
