Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong, unified, and high-performing workforce. This role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, training, and ensuring that our unique company culture is consistently implemented and celebrated across all properties. The HR Generalist will also oversee employee relations, payments, and quality control while traveling to properties to ensure compliance with standards.
What Will You Do
1. Recruitment & Hiring
- Lead the recruitment and hiring process for all roles across properties.
- Develop a talent acquisition strategy to identify, attract, and retain top hospitality professionals.
- Design and implement thorough candidate evaluation processes.
2. Training & Onboarding
- Create and execute a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new hires align with company´s culture and service standards.
- Develop training programs for operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Establish and update culture and training manuals to set industry-leading standards.
3. Culture & Integration
- Ensure values and culture are uniformly upheld across all properties.
- Organize regular integration events and team-building activities to promote cohesion and employee engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate the company culture to identify areas for improvement and maintain consistency.
4. Employee Relations & Administration
- Oversee employee payments, benefits, and compliance with labor laws.
- Manage employee relations, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Implement systems for payroll, vacation, and benefits tracking.
5. Quality Control
- Conduct regular visits to properties for quality control, audits, including uniform compliance and operational standards.
- Address and resolve HR-related challenges directly at properties.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR, preferably in hospitality or service industries.
- Languages: Advanced conversational English.
- Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal communication.
- Proven experience in recruitment, training, and culture-building.
- Familiarity with HR tools and software (Payroll systems, applicant tracking systems).
- Willingness to travel to properties as needed.
? Familiarity with the Mexico's labor regulations.
