The Carrier Sales is responsible for procuring carriers for new or existing business, operational needs and/or margin improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing carriers.
Regularly communicate with carriers to understand their capabilities, capacity, and market conditions.
Negotiate favorable terms and rates with carriers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
Stay informed about market trends and conditions to negotiate competitive agreements
Monitor and assess carrier capacity to ensure it aligns with the company's needs.
Negotiate with carriers to generate capacity for new and existing business.
Constantly look for new carriers to work with according to the company's needs.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum At least 1 year of proven experience in logistics of transportation and/or brokerage, and/or customer service or sales.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve problems efficiently.
Work Environment
Location: ON SITE (office located in San Pedro Garza Garcia)
Hours: Day Shift M-F
