Position Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Blue Yonder WMS Developer, where you'll be at the forefront of system development and optimization. This role involves creating and maintaining Blue Yonder WMS modifications, supporting system design, configuring systems, testing solutions, developing documentation, resolving issues, and providing vital support to our Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Development:

- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, solution summaries, functional and technical designs, and test plans.

- Customization: Create, modify, and maintain Blue Yonder WMS customizations based on approved designs.

- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the project team to understand, refine, and define detailed project requirements from solution designs.

- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives through data acquisition, analysis, and development of metrics and reports.

- Integration: Develop and implement interfaces between Blue Yonder WMS and third-party systems (e.g., automation, host systems, parcel systems).

Business Analytics:

- Feasibility Studies: Conduct studies to review computer systems capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations, assisting in planning or developing new systems or modifying existing ones to enhance business services.

- Data Management: Organize data collation and setup for the agreed solutions.

- Process Design: Analyze business processes and design new processes and system configurations to optimize future operations.

- Automation: Analyze business and user requirements, procedures, and problems to help automate processes.

Site Technical Support:

- Super User: Serve as the go-to expert for all site users on WMS.

- Issue Resolution: Act as the primary resource for any WMS issues reported by the operations team, troubleshooting and resolving support requests.

- Vendor Coordination: Work with software vendors and developers to resolve complex application issues.

- Integration Monitoring: Ensure seamless data exchange between WMS and ERP systems.

Warehouse Activities:

- Operational Interface: Possess a working knowledge of warehouse activities and interface with the Operations Team to review operating procedures and maximize system efficiency.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); 3PL experience strongly preferred.

- Programming: Proficiency in Java and Python.

- WMS Expertise: Strong working knowledge of JDA/Blue Yonder WMS, including MOCA Components, MTF, Pagebuilder, Jasper Reports, Labels, and Integrator.

- Version Control: Experience with Git version control system.

- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the capability to research and implement optimal solutions.

- Data Analysis: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.).

- SQL Skills: Advanced SQL skills (MSSQL) and in-depth WMS database knowledge.

- Reporting: Experience creating reports and dashboards; Power BI is a big plus.

- Language Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

- EDI Experience: Experience with EDI is a significant plus.
