Job Responsibilities:
Dedicated AIS Linguist whose primary responsibility is guidelines expertise and resource-facing enforcement of quality and project requirements during production The role requires familiarity with all project requirements/guidelines and acceptance criteria and working closely with Project Managers, Senior Language Engineers, and Engineers, but whose responsibility is narrowed to subject matter/content-level expertise, not PM tasks such as payments or project creation. There is room to grow in client-facing comms as needed/able.

Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's or higher in Linguistics or related field required
Bilingual preferred
Previous academic and/or practical experience with NLP required
Familiarity with the following systems required: Sharepoint, Sharefile, Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite, Teams, Pantheon (Relay, Junction)
Excellent attention to detail required, pertaining to locale-specific and locale-agnostic guidelines, technical and linguistic requirements for data, acceptance criteria, quality metrics
Resource-facing experience required, including answering questions, training, providing feedback
Excellent internal and external written/verbal communication skills required
AI Enablement data collection project experience required - topics include: conversational AI/chatbots, Spoken/Written Modality, Entities, Annotation, Transcription, Utterance Creation, Utterance Transcreation/Localization, and/or Synonym Creation

Primary Tasks
- Attending daily/weekly project scrums
- Becoming an expert in all Guidelines and project Requirements
- Awareness of acceptance criteria (not responsible for creating/agreeing with client but knowing what they are as relates to quality/internal metrics)
- Answering questions directly from resources in Teams (Jira as applicable)
- Collaborating with SLEs and Production on resource Training and criteria to pass training
- Creating systems for and executing mid-stream quality checkpoints, proactively discovering problems and working with resources directly for re-training as needed
- Clear documentation/communication
- Note on documentation: This role owns the (program-specific, client-specific or squad-specific) documentation, after completion of the project scoping/design phase by SLEs. This includes documentation such as delivery checklists, tooling UI guides, templates for "DA" sheets like those in Comprehend, etc. Major guidelines updates would come back to SLEs for input/approval.
