Continued business growth in our US business has created a key role in our Global Investment Operations team with focus on accounting and external service provider oversight activities for the WTW funds. The role will appeal to people with a background in fund accounting and administration who are looking for an opportunity to join a successful team in a growing firm; and using their experience and initiative to broaden their skills and add value to the business. You will liaise closely with third party service providers such as trustees/custodians, fund administrators, investment managers as well as WTW internal teams such as lead consultants, and other operations teams.
Responsibilities: - Oversight of the performance of external fund accountants by performing NAV checks on the WTW funds.
- Participation in the preparation of annual financial statements for the WTW Funds.
- Oversight of the WTW Funds annual audits.
- Maintain outsourced service provider relationships with a fund accounting focus.
- Management of the WTW funds invoicing process.
- Monitor WTW fund expenses, total expense ratios and accruals.
- Assist with and provide fund accounting input into new fund launches.
- Provide significant input into the day-to-day operations of Third-Party Oversight Accounting Team.
QualificationsThe Requirements- Strong preference for at least 5-7 years' experience in investment Fund Accounting on daily and monthly funds.
- Experience/understanding of working in Fund Operations / Middle Office role.
- Working knowledge of a fund of funds structure including subjects such as:
- Fund accounting principles.
- Trade management, full transaction cycle
- Cash management
- Dealing with different teams with a Custodian/Trustee
- Procedures and controls (risk management).
- Investor relations
- US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Critical thinking skills; and a desire to work in a risk-managed and controls-based environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language to ensure that information and knowledge is shared appropriately.
- Team-player with the ability to fit seamlessly into the wider global team of associates all focused on delivering work of exceptional quality.

- Demonstrate a keen sense of urgency in responding to escalated issues, rapidly changing priorities, and adverse performance of service providers.
