Acquiring Manager
We are looking for a manager for our acquiring solution (payment gateway), responsible for building long-term business relationships with our clients and overseeing the daily operations of this vertical. The manager's role is to supervise our current client portfolio and actively seek new sales opportunities.
The candidate must be an excellent leader capable of implementing the most efficient ways to manage the business in coordination with senior management, safeguarding and enhancing the company's operational efficiency to facilitate accelerated growth and long-term success.
Position Objectives
- Collaborate with senior executives in developing long-term performance goals and operational plans
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through continuous process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
- Set strategic objectives to drive operational efficiency and increase productivity
- Work with IT and commercial departments to develop financial and budget plans for each client and business line
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending improvements when needed
Responsibilities
Planning:
- Develop an annual profitability plan by setting clear financial goals, analyzing revenues and expenses, and identifying improvement areas to maximize profitability throughout the year
Commercial:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client account management matters
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop relationships as trusted advisors with key accounts, client stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business plans with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare status reports
Operations:
- Develop, implement, and monitor daily operational systems and processes to provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
- Leverage relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
- Monitor and analyze key metrics of daily operations to ensure efficient and timely execution of the business plan
- Design strategies to ensure effective implementation of company-wide programs and introduce process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs
- Adhere to company policies and standards and ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines
Requirements and Skills
- Proven work experience in similar companies
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executives and C-level
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
