Located in our Santa Fe office, you will maintain health customer accounts by ensuring collection of trade receivables and applying payments promptly and accurately. The position will require moderate technical skills to assist with report development, as well as completing certain and ad hoc request required by management
Key responsibilities:
Daily contacts with customer by appropriate method (phone, email, etc) to collect accounts
Issue credit and debit memos as needed
Mediates between customer and internal Gates' departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, Distribution, Sales and other as required
Provides various monthly reporting of collection activity determined by management
Identifying payment discrepancies and creating the proper reconciling entries/transactions to ensure complete and accurate payment application
Researching the reason of payment discrepancies and looking and pushing for prompt approval among areas involved such as Customer Service, Distribution, Marketing, Sales, Plants, etc.
Other tasks or duties as assigned.

ABOUT YOU
2 to 4 years in administrative, accounting
Bachelor's Degree in business administration or Accounting
Medium accounting knowledge with experience in all areas of general accounting
Medium knowledge of international accounting knowledge beneficial
Medium knowledge of general principles of finance
Knowledge of marketing and sales principles
Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills
Medium interpersonal relationship and negotiation skills
Medium deductive reasoning and reconciliation skills increasing application based on account complexity
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Good computer skills with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly
English Intermediate Level
Knowledge / experience with Oracle ERP
Medium experience with SOX controls auditing processes and is committed to the importance of accounting standards and controls
