Regional Director Procurement Category Managers AmericasResponsibilities- Leading a team of Procurement Category Managers and supporting their professional development.
- Setting goals, conducting performance assessments, and providing feedback to develop HR resources for Americas
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with the BU's and Global Procurement goals.
- Apply strategic procedures for current and future business.
- Create and conduct all Procurement Business Plan activities for relevant/responsible Categories in Americas
- Collaborate with BU and Global Procurement on Strategy and Business Partnering with all Business Unites
- Optimizing resource utilization within the procurement team.
- Providing training and resources for the development of team members.
- Collaborating closely with other departments such as production, engineering, and finance to support Procurement goals.
- Ensuring smooth information exchange and effective collaboration.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team members
- Identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Integrating VAVE principles into the team's procurement strategies.
Qualifications- At least 5 years of experience in similar position
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Procurement project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Support Global Procurement Business Partners for all Bus and Operations
- Understanding of VAVE principles and their integration into the procurement process.
- Supporting Procurement Category Managers with technical questions and challenges.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and find creative solutions
- Supporting team members in overcoming challenges.
