Job Description?
Summary/objective
This position is responsible for identifying new business and maintaining current business with the automotive OEM & Tier I customers. This will include cultivating customer relationships, change management at source and business development.
Essential functions
- Function as key contact person to customers
- Identify and grow new business opportunities (new business or engineering changes to current business).
- Retrieve information about OEM future launch programs.
- Provide customer and competitor intelligence necessary to win business
- Promote company as strategic partner to customers
- Develop and implement quote schedule to meet customer expectations ***
- Make quotations for new business RFQ and engineering changes ***

Required education and experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- 5+ years total experience in sales, flexible
- Previous automotive sales experience with OEM & Tier I customers
Preferred education and experience
- Automotive experience required
- Plastic and rubber component experience preferred
