PLC Programmer- Customer Service Mexico
Position Located in Mexico to attend Mexican companies on behalf Harro Höfliger

Customer Service ensures that the machines delivered are ready for use over their entire life cycle and work highly productively. Close cooperation, efficient communication and high flexibility - these are important building blocks of Harro Höfliger's service philosophy.
Tasks:
- remote support and coordination with customer to rectify software related issues.
- controls and software related (after sales) support for our machinery systems.
- modifications of the PLC, HMI and Safety programming based on customer requirements.
- support customers staff while operating and setting up the machines.
- find and eliminate software errors.
- prepare documents for software changes and supply them to the customer
- recognize areas of improvements and discuss them with a specialist in Germany.
- exchange of know-how with colleagues in Germany
- willing to travel (both domestic and international) also to customers
- support during the FAT/SAT and commissioning of the systems
- travelling to Germany in regular intervals mostly for training reasons in the first months
Qualifications:
- Degree/diploma in electrical / electronic engineering / mechatronics
- 4 years experience with automation / machine manufacturing
- knowledge of programming of Codesys IEC 61131-2 / Codesys IEC 61131-3
- 4 years knowledge of Rockwell PLC and Siemens PLC are preferred
- knowledge in the HMI systems (Report generation, Recipe creation, User administration, etc.) are preferred
- strong customer-orientated thinking and proactive
- team-minded
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish language, German skills are preferred
Due to training sessions you are going to spend most of the time in Germany for the first few months though. Having finished this phase you are either going to travel to customers (domestic and international) or work from home.
