Startup company with a global presence is looking for a Production Supervisor, located in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon (airport area).

The Production Supervisor leads the day-to-day shift leadership necessary to foster an engaged team focusing on Continuous Improvement, safety, and Operational Excellence. As a key member you will report to a Production Manager and directly oversee the production employees.

Cross-functional collaboration is essential to effectively leading the team to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Selects, onboards, trains employees.
• Completes the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Maintains quality service
• Analyze cost savings or cost reduction opportunities and implement, as appropriate
• Meet and achieve the productivity of the operating staff, in order to achieve the goals established by the company.
• Plan and schedule production activities ensuring that delivery times and established objectives are met.
• Guarantee customer satisfaction based on quality and compliance with their requirements.
• Follow up on the root causes of the main problems.
• Follow up and collaborate with the safety and integrity of the staff.
• Supervise and ensure order, cleanliness. Application of 5's throughout the plant.
• Filling out production reports.
• Compliance with KPI's
• Coordinate absence permits and follow the procedure for correct application.
• Knowledge of the supply chain.
• Coordinate operations employees in the corresponding lines.
• Specific knowledge of the production plan.
• Provide guidance to new personnel assigned to your production line on best practices to achieve production objectives
• Provide feedback to employees assigned to your line on their performance and areas of opportunity
• Promote an environment of collaboration among the personnel under your charge
• Verify, authorize and submit staff incidents

Technical Skills / Experience:

• English conversational
• +5 years as Production Supervisor
• Experience on assembly, welding, CNC, plastic, painting production
• Experience overseeing +100 people
• Fully availability

People skills

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
