Job Title: Technician Mechanical Designer, Coordinator.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Lead Technician Mechanical Designer responsible for designing 3D mechanical part and assembly models using CAD software and creating 2D drawings for manufacturing. The role involves assisting engineers with module or sub-assembly designs and providing expert guidance to other designers, participating in design reviews, and resolving complex problems. This position will also train and mentor designers while ensuring adherence to engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a mentor and resource for design issues
• Analyze and solve complex design problems
• Apply business and industry knowledge to design solutions
• Lead teams to address routine technical problems
• Continually improve design processes and implement innovative solutions
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback
• Proficient in module assemblies, Master Models, and FEA for components and assemblies

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or equivalent preferred
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with CAD software (Solid Edge), 3D modeling, and 2D drawings
• Sheet metal, plastic, and welding design experience
• Knowledge of ASME/ISO/GD&T standards
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, ideally in the medical device industry
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with FDA regulations for medical device design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
