We are seeking a skilled Production support engineer to join our team as a n RTB lead. This role is critical in ensuring the stability and reliability of our payment systems, providing 24/7 support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, particularly in Java, Spring boot, MQ, Kafka and Hazelcast, along with excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the 24/7 product support team, managing incidents and ensuring timely resolution.
· Monitor and maintain the performance of Payment systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
· Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in timely manner
· Perform root cause analysis for incidents and propose solution to propose solutions and prevent reoccurrence
· Document procedures and incident reports to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
· Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response activities as needed
· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
· Communicate efficiently with cross-functional teams and stakeholders regarding system status and incident management. Required Qualification:
· Bachelor Degree in Computer science, Information technology or related field
· Proven experience in production support roles, preferably with a focus on payment systems
· Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot frameworks
· Familiarity with messaging systems such as MQ and Kafka
· Experience with distributed caching technologies like Hazelcast
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal
