Job Summary
Responsible for Tour Desk operations including telephone, guest reception, tour registration, and gifting. Actively exhibits the highest level of compliance of the Company operating standards.
Expected Contributions
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of check in desk and all surrounding public areas while providing efficient and courteous service.
Coordinates the daily opening and closing of Tour Desk
Screen all customers to comply with tour qualification guidelines
Assign arrivals in the property management system.
Distribute premiums to guests who have toured'.
Ensure that the points distributed to guests for touring are submitted to corporate to be redeemed.
Prepare and maintain daily tour booking schedule.
Monitor daily tour activity and Sales Executive availability, and reports discrepancies to appropriate manager.
Maintain daily communication with sales managers with regards to tour bookings and daily tour schedule
Maintain excellent customer service techniques; deals with customers professionally and courteously.
Appropriately interact with all personnel and maintains positive, professional relationships with co-workers
Maintain close communicative relationships with Marketing and Sales Management in order to ensure the highest level of program efficiency and standards.
Assist Marketing Management in executing special projects, as directed.
Track inventory, order and maintain Tour Desk supplies.
Specific Candidate Profile
High School diploma
One year experience similar position.
Bilingual, ability to speak English and Spanish, fluently.
Exceptional customer service orientation and skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
Show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; promote a harassment-free environment.
Be consistently at work and on time; Arrive at meetings and appointments on time.
Proven time management skills.
Proven ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work flexible hours and days. It is anticipated that the position will require working a provided schedule. Occasionally holidays and/or a six- or seven-day work schedule will be required.
Stands, sits, or walks for extended periods. Ability to climb stairs.
Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance.
