Technical/Functional Skills

1. Expertise in installing and configuring Talend Administration Center (TAC), Talend Studio and associated tools on on-premises and cloud environments.

2. Hands-on experience in deploying Talend jobs in different environments (Dev, QA, Prod) and monitoring execution via TAC or third-party tools.

3. Proficiency in managing users, roles and permissions in Talend Administration Center to ensure data security and compliance.

4. Skilled in optimizing Talend job performance through resource management, job design improvements and server tuning.

5. Experience in integrating Talend with external tools like databases, big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

6. Expertise in troubleshooting Talend job failures, analyzing logs and implementing robust error-handling mechanisms.

7. Knowledge of applying patches, upgrading Talend environments and ensuring compatibility with the latest versions of Talend and related components.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Install, configure and manage Talend Administration Center (TAC), Talend Runtime and Talend Studio in on-premises or cloud environments.

2. Set up and manage users, roles and access permissions in Talend to ensure secure and organized workflow management.

3. Deploy Talend ETL jobs across development, testing and production environments and monitor their execution for successful data integration.

4. Monitor system performance, identify issues with job executions and troubleshoot errors to ensure seamless data integration processes.

5. Analyze and optimize Talend job performance by fine-tuning resource allocation, database queries and workflow designs.

6. Perform regular updates to Talend components, including applying patches and upgrading to newer versions while ensuring minimal downtime.

7. Work closely with development teams, business analysts and other stakeholders to align Talend implementations with business goals.

8. Maintain comprehensive documentation of Talend processes and provide training to team members on best practices and tool functionalities.
