Descripción
Purpose of Position.
This position plays the role of consultant and contributes to the business strategy together with the rest of the departments, as well as with all areas of Human Resources, such as Salaried Recruitment, Labor Relations Compensation, Benefits, T&A and HTR- Hire to Retire.
Major responsibilities and tasks of the position.
A. Lead or participate in projects related to plant initiatives or the Human Resources department
B. Review trends and metrics with Plant Staff to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
C. Analyze reports of Human Resources indicators such as absenteeism, turnover, demographic data.
D. Actively participates in the weekly meetings with manager/supervisor.
E. Manage human capital processes (coaching, consulting, career development, disciplinary actions)
F. Administration of resignations, settlements, leave and absenteeism policies, as well as employee programs and procedures
G. Intervene in the recruitment process and act as the main contact with sourcing talent.
H. Facilitate discussions, orientation programs for new employees to learn about the needs of the company.
I. Support the communication and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and programs.
J. Work directly with designated areas to provide a direct contact with HR and support plant initiatives and actions.
K. Offer quality Human Resources services within our corporate framework, provide, or implement Human Resources programs and initiatives.
Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.
A. Education.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related discipline.
B. Work Experience
ü 2 - 4 years of experience in the Human Resources area
ü Experience with administering Human Resources policies, programs and practices.
ü Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
ü Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
ü Facilitating group meetings and/or training programs.
ü Ability to multi-task, prioritizes work, and meets deadlines.
C. Competencies
ü Fast learner.ü Time Administration.ü Customer focus attitude.ü Ability to understand, anticipate and identify customer needs while using information to provide the best-individualized service.ü Teamwork.ü Self-motivated, highly organized, able to work independently when needed, flexible, discreet, and able to handle confidential Must be strongly proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and Power Point.
