The SAP Application Manager Marketing & Sales (SAP SD) oversees the strategic enhancement and operational support of core applications crucial to business functions in marketing and sales.

In your future role as Application Manager SAP SD Marketing & Sales you will 

• SAP Sales and Distribution: 
• Basic Functions: Pricing, Taxes etc. 
• Sales 
• Foreign Trade/Customs 
• Billing 
• SAP MM & PM 
• Logistics Execution 
• Shipping 
• Transportation (Routes, Transportation Planning Point, Shipment and Shipment Cost 
• Integration of SD, LE with other modules (MM, FICO, PP/QM) 
• EDI, Idoc 
• EDI interface with customers (Order, Shipping notification and Invoice) 
• EDI interface with Transportation Management Systems (Shipment, shipment cost) 
• IDoc Interface / Application Link Enabling (ALE) 
• Application Support & Incident Management: 
• Ensure system uptime and resolve application-related issues promptly. 
• Monitor performance and maintain production environment integrity. 
• Manage applications per SLA and regional business needs. 
• On-call availability for emergencies 
• Change Management & Enhancements: 
• Drive problem analysis, solution preparation, and system changes. 
• Conduct integration tests and support user documentation updates. 
• Support Key Users & Stakeholders: 
• Analyze training needs, maintain training materials. 
• Visit customers, engage with key users, and coordinate support. 
• Maintain technical documentation and CMDB updates. 
• Support application functionality and project execution. 
• Participate in CAB meetings and automation initiatives. 
• Facilitate complex seller integrations and optimize implementations.

• Expertise in Functional Application Management: 
• Lead strategic changes and customize packages to meet business and technical requirements. 
• Proficiency with Business Applications, Platforms, and IT Infrastructures: 
• Effectively manage and support critical applications and understand business processes. 
• Familiarity with IT Standards (ITIL, Cobit, CMM): 
• Apply industry best practices for IT service management and governance. 
• Certification in System Maintenance/Configuration/Customization: 
• Formal training and expertise in maintaining and customizing systems. 
• Business Process Knowledge 
• Results-Driven with Customer Focus 
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills 
• Commitment to System Performance and Quality Solutions 
• English (Spoken and Written) at professional work level
