We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager for a leading provider of energy services based in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial management, reporting to international locations such as England, Canada and Panama, and a thorough understanding of IFRS, financial planning, treasury, billing, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP financial system implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the overall financial operations of the company.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Prepare and present financial reports to international offices in locations such as Ireland and Panama.
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow management and banking relationships.
- Oversee billing and collections processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of ERP financial systems.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management.
- Proven experience reporting to international offices
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Experience in financial planning, treasury, billing, auditing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP financial systems implementation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
