This role includes designing new or improve current data solutions, providing guidance to our Product Leads and Data Engineers in accordance with our architecture framework and guidelines. You should have analytical thinking, creativity, be a self-learner, and be a proactive person. Ultimately, you will enhance our ability to make better platforms here at The Coca-Cola Company. What You'll Do for Us
- Take charge of the end-to-end design and implementation process of Data Products, ensuring alignment from data extraction to presentation based on the company's guidelines and frameworks.
- Act as a primary interface with other technology teams to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of data sources.
- Define and enforce performance parameters, balance, and sustainability of data solutions, actively monitoring and optimizing the reuse of components.
- Be accountable for developing and maintaining up-to-date standards and guidelines for emerging technologies within our platforms. Ensure that all solutions are compliant with these standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Offer direct technical expertise and support to Data Product Teams, including Stakeholders, Product Leads, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts, ensuring the team is equipped to meet business goals.
- Spearhead the development of Proof of Concepts for new challenges and provide detailed guidance on their implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
- Regularly review platform performance metrics to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Proactively address any issues and continuously seek opportunities for improvement. Proactively identify risk factors in our data solutions and work to mitigate potential issues early in the design phase.
- Actively monitor technical debt and lead upgrade initiatives to enhance system functionality and longevity.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Data Scientists, empowering them with the skills needed to excel in their roles and adhere to best practices in data management. Engage in knowledge sharing sessions to elevate the technical skills of the team and foster a collaborative environment.
- Hold responsibility for the final deliverables of the data architecture projects, ensuring they meet all functional and technical requirements outlined by the stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the security team to ensure data solutions comply with corporate data security and privacy standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in data technology to continuously innovate and recommend improvements to our architecture.
Qualification & Requirements
- 5+ years' experience working with Data Products Development.
- 3+ years' experience designing and implementing Data Products (Extractions, Reports, Dashboards).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with Business Intelligence Data Visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Data Services and Architecture.
- Solid Knowledge with relational SQL databases and NON relational databases
- Solid knowledge about data modeling and architecture.
- Knowledge with Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools.
- Knowledge on architecture and connectivity across multiple Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS and/or GCP).
- Effective Communication in English (Oral and Writing).
- Knowledge in Scrum Methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience designing, modelling and/or developing Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Experience using CI/CD tools - GitHub, GoCD, Terraform and/or Azure DevOps.
- Experience in programming languages used in Data Product Development.
- Knowledge with Master Data Management (MDM).
- Understand Agile Scrum & DevOps best practices.
- Experience working in a multinational, distributed team, with in-house and external delivery resources.
- Working on one Agile life cycle management tool such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
