About the role
Seasoned International Trade Compliance professional working independently. Advises on the operation of compliance programs, implements compliance policies, and maintains trade compliance records.
Ensure compliance with the foreign trade programs that the company and its business units have in place.
Work in collaboration with other internal departments. This includes coordination with areas such as Import-Export, Sourcing, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, IT, and Security, to ensure that all operations and processes comply with established customs regulations and foreign trade programs.
Conduct continuous audits of activities and procedures to identify, correct, and mitigate potential risks, thus ensuring compliance and efficiency in the management of these foreign trade programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Relations, or Global Business.
- Minimum 5 years in IMMEX/CIVA/AEO, customs legislation, and customs clearance.
- Proficiency in the IMMEX program.
- Company Certification Scheme (CIVA – AEO).
- Audit management.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP databases (SAP).
- Advanced English.
