We are looking for the best talent for the position of Strategic Purchasing Manager who can meet the following profile:

This position is also responsible for compliance, negotiating costs, managing supplier business, suppliers' audits, scheduling, and expediting deliveries while maintaining the lowest possible costs; This position is responsible for purchasing all indirect products, including packaging, maintenance, repair, and operating (“MRO”) products; suppliers & responsible for strategic purchases of all direct products (RMs), and Inter-Company; (product availability is a top priority, assuring business development).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build-up the technical procurement for NA region, motivate and develop colleagues to ensure long-term succession strength as well as teamwork, based on the Freudenberg Values and Guiding Principles and the Guidelines of Leadership & Teamwork.

· Lead Raw Material strategic purchasing at Kluber México, ensuring regional and global alignments, updating the global list of raw materials (GRL update), KOBA management, monthly/annual reports, KPIs monitoring and targets achievements.

• Develop and maintain guidelines, systems, quality standards and procedures for the proper functioning of procurement processes, by providing leadership in accordance with the organization's guidelines and standards, in order to implement the group procurement policies.

• Ensure adherence to those guidelines, systems, quality standards, procedures and budget to achieve the objectives.

• Lead negotiations on procurement that is important to the organization so that a cost-effective purchasing policy can be implemented.

• Coordinate and organize the different activities of the department according to the priorities and skills of each and the needs of the internal or external customers in order to offer an effective and efficient service meeting the quality requirements of the organization within the given deadlines.

• Representing a strong Procurement function in cross-functional collaboration.

• Examine, propose and take responsibility for the implementation of method improvements and business opportunity monitoring, in order to constantly increase the profitability of the purchasing process.

• Keep up-to-date with developments in the field of purchasing to enhance its credibility through a service that is constantly based on up-to-date knowledge.

· Supporting MRO requisitioners, lead SAP training for requisitioners and internal team members, ensuring orders are issued and goods receipts are entered into the system, to maintain data integrity.

· Work closely with our Finance Manager, to track and manage all CAPEX order spending within approved budget.

• Review and negotiate vendor quotes and services to determine sourcing for new MRO products and equipment.

• Back up Strategic Regional Purchasing position (for the future). As part of the development plan.

Professional Experience/ Required Qualifications:

· Technical degree (ex.: engineering) or Bachelor's degree in business, Science, or a related field preferred.

· Several (5+) years in Procurement, including leading strategic purchasing and indirect spend management (maintenance, services, capex,)

· Knowledge of industrial and chemical raw materials

• Organizational development of Procurement function incl. change management
• Experience of working in an international company (global presence)
• Solid negotiations experience

• SAP and IT affinity (especially excel/dynamic calculation), and Power BI skills

· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

· Strong project and time management abilities.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
