Procurement Manager – Bid & Launch - LATAM

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, relevant Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, project management, costing, or supply chain management, in a logistics/3PL environment (Mandatory).
• Fluent in Spanish and English (Both verbal and Written), Portuguese language skills are an asset
• Exceptional knowledge of Excel, including the use of macros and complex formulas
• Knowledge of Monday, Oracle ERP, SAP ERP considered an asset
• Knowledgeable in the creation/use of pricing templates, cost databases, and other supporting tools.
• Able to delegate tasks, meet project deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with procurement processes, and sourcing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills – written and oral to deal with a wide rande of customers-both internal external.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Experience with procurement software (SAP, Oracle), project management tools (Monday), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Procurement (CIPS) is a plus.
• 60% travel capacity (Mexico, United States, and Canada)
• Valid passport and visa
• Live in Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara primarily, or any state in the country (work remotely but with availability to travel domestically and internationally)
• Advanced English (C1 or C2)

About the Role/How you will contribute:

• Provide costing inputs and cost estimates for facilities, capex, launch, Opex, material handling equipment, transportation, and security for bids opportunities.
• Where pricing has not been previously established, solicit quotes and estimates
• Attend and participate in bid opportunity calls for RFQ's in Canada, US, and Mexico.
• Manage all bid related activities as they relate to the Procurement team for Mexico, US and Canada Bids.
• Review Customer bid requirements that need to be considered in Costing submission.
• Collaborate with the property and purchasing team to develop the necessary supporting documents, pricing sheets, and assumptions for pricing inputs, ensuring the highest quality, accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
• Host weekly calls with project stakeholders to monitor project progress, track deliverables, ensure quality assurance, and address customer service concerns.
• Proactively identify and address potential risks in the procurement process and ensure contingency plans are in place.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, working to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, PMO, Legal, and Commercial, to develop effective strategies that meet project requirements and ensure seamless execution and integration of procurement activities.
• Escalate any project risks to PMO, Operations, and VP of Procurement to facilitate awareness and/or the development of alternative plans.
• Purchase materials and services, categories of items as assigned, ensuring lowest total cost of acquisition is achieved.
• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Ofrecemos:

*Sueldo de $70,000 a $80,000 mensuales brutos

*Prestaciones Superiores a la Ley

*Trabajo remoto pero con disponibilidad para viajar en México, a USA y Canadá (60%)
