IT Analyst Disaster Recovery
We are seeking IT Engineer or IT Support with experience in Disaster Recovery Planning processes, including the design, implementation, and management of strategies to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or data loss.

What can you expect?
The DR and Operations Management Processes Analyst will facilitate corporate wide IT processes like Disaster Recovery, Microsoft License Management, Service On-boarding, and Management Reporting Services in the area of infrastructure, database, desktop management, IT security, and incident & problem management and change management. The role is involved on behalf of the MMC Business Units the Application DR in scheduling, preparation, execution, and post-mortem of DR tests - coordinating and working with the Tech Support DR team as required. This position will also facilitate a few infrastructure related processes such as Inventory Review, Capacity & Forecasting and Application Sunset.
We will count on you:
Disaster Recovery Management (50%):
- Planning and coordination of application DR testing schedules – ensuring compliance with application DR policy and client requirements.
- Management of scheduled application DR tests, in partnership with Tech & Bus, throughout the year.
- Ownership of DR preparation activities within different groups including Application Technical Operations (ATO), App Team etc.
- Ensure that required application DR documentation is complete, signed off and reviewed as outlined in DR policy and related documentation
- Coordination of Application and ATO resources required for DR testing
- Maintain DR data on ATO SharePoint Team site
- Track of post-mortem closure items and ensure that actions are closed
- Provide required DR information to corporate stakeholders maintaining integrity of data and adding value to business
Operations Management Processes (50%):
- Facilitate ATO/application on-boarding process including estimated cost, build and implement, ongoing support and service transition. This includes assessment of documentation and working partnership with various groups across the organization
- Produce regular and ad-hoc management reports on MMC Visualization Tools like Microsoft Power BI and make them available to Global Technology Leadership team
- In partnership with various technology and business teams, work on number of infrastructure related processes like Inventory Review, Capacity Forecasting and Application Sunset
- Coordination of MS licensing related requests throughout the year
- Maintain DR and Ops Management Processes SharePoint team site, delivering team documentation, procedures, guidelines and calendars
- Create and maintain technical documents such as technical guidelines, policies and procedures, FAQs and calendars
- Develop and maintain solid contacts with other Technology communities
- Contribute to group/team wide process improvement initiatives
- Ability to work in global team located in various geographies
What you need to have:
- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- At least 2 years of experience in diverse technical problems solving.
- Experience of Reporting & Data Visualization Tools like Microsoft BI,Tableau or Qlik
- Experience in managing Disaster Recovery tests
- Intermediate to advance level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word
- Understanding of end-user processes and operational procedures
- Can communicate effectively across all levels and groups of an organization
- Enjoys working in a fast pace, ever changing work environment
- Determines own priorities and works well individually and as part of the team
- Sound knowledge and understanding of:
- ITIL processes
- A least one end-user ticket management system
- Capacity management and forecasting processes
- End-end support drivers, SLAs and performance metrics
- Change management processes
- Industry DR solutions, trends, policies and management processes
