We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Junior Accountant to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices.
• Prepare and process payments.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication in English/Spanish and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
