Dealer Credit Financial Analyst
Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Dealer Credit Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in preparing Credit Application Forms (CAF) and memos, analyzing financial data, and assessing the creditworthiness of dealer clients to support sound credit decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Assistance in Preparation of Credit Application Forms (CAF)/Memos: Support in developing and compiling detailed CAFs/memos in accordance with established guidelines and thresholds.
- Financial Analysis Support: Assist in conducting financial analyses of dealer clients, including reviewing balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other pertinent financial data.
- Credit Assessment Support: Help evaluate the creditworthiness of dealer clients by analyzing credit history, payment patterns, and risk factors.
- Risk Management Support: Assist in identifying potential risks and help recommend appropriate credit limits and terms to mitigate exposure.
- Documentation: Ensure all credit documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting Support: Help prepare and present credit reports to senior management and credit committees for review and approval.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, legal, and compliance teams, to gather necessary information and support credit decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit analysis to enhance the quality and efficiency of credit assessments.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Internship or related experience in finance, credit analysis, or a similar field is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with financial analysis software is a plus.
