The Financial Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the fintech's financial strategy, ensuring operational sustainability and efficiency. This role will act as a key partner to the CFO or CEO, contributing strategic insights for data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in Startup or ScaleUp environments, and be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
?? Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute financial plans aligned with the company's growth and scalability objectives.
Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial modeling.
Oversee cash flow, treasury, and cost control.
Analyze and report KPIs such as MRR, ARR, Burn Rate, CAC, and Customer Retention.
Participate in fundraising rounds and manage investor relations.
Ensure regulatory compliance with local authorities (e.g., CNBV, SAT, SHCP).
Design credit policies and implement financial risk mitigation strategies.
Implement BI tools and automate accounting and financial processes.
Collaborate closely with technology, product, and operations teams.
Coordinate internal and external audits.

Revenue growth vs. forecast.
EBITDA margin and net income.
Burn Rate and Financial Runway.
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Retention Rate.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Master's degree in Finance or an MBA is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in financial roles, including 3 years in fintech or tech companies.
Mandatory previous experience in a Startup or ScaleUp environment.
Experience in fundraising or institutional financing.
Proficiency with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.
Advanced English (spoken and written).
