SOURCING SPECIALIST

Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Sourcing, Logistics, Operations Management, Mathematics or Economics

· Fluent English (advanced/conversational)

Experiencie: 2 + years experiencia as a Sourcing Specialist

Activities:

· Manage supplier contracts in a manner that ensures all requirements and special terms and conditions are met.

· Manage supplier pricing and purchasing terms including but not limited to: Incoterms, freight costs, payment terms, rebates.

· Work with assigned Suppliers to drive improvement on the Supplier Scorecards. Work with the Quality Department to ensure that plans of action are developed and implemented for improving poor performing suppliers and rewarding top performing suppliers.

· Maintain and enhance strong partnerships with existing suppliers through excellent communication and collaborative approach in resolving issues and drive cost savings.

· Visit and evaluate supplier's technical and manufacturing capabilities.

· Evaluate potential suppliers.

· Coordinate request for quotation (RFQ), process them and respond to sales within the established time target.

· Execute material strategies for assigned material groups, working with suppliers to lower total landed costs.

· Utilize cost analysis, price analysis and cost modeling techniques to manage supplier costs in SAP.
