We are looking for a DATA ANALYST
100% Remote based in MEXICO
Advanced english level
Plus 6 YOE
- strong background in enterprise data warehouses, advanced SQL skills, and exposure to PySpark, Amazon EMR, and Apache Airflow. The candidate should be capable of managing large datasets, conducting in-depth analysis, and developing efficient data processing workflows to support business decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and availability.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure proper data solutions are implemented.
- Support data migration and integration tasks from various data sources into the enterprise data warehouse.
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting of ETL processes.
- Create and maintain data documentation, including data models and data dictionaries.
- Analyze business requirements and design data models and reporting solutions that support business intelligence tools.
- Monitor and optimize SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Provide support to team members in resolving technical data issues and ensuring smooth operational flows.
- Work closely with offshore and onshore teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role with hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including data manipulation, querying, and optimization for performance.
- Experience with enterprise data warehouse platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Athena, or simlar).
- Exposure to PySpark for handling large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow for scheduling and automating workflows.
- Experience working with Amazon EMR or other distributed computing environments.
- Good understanding of ETL concepts and processes.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with remote teams and business stakeholders.
