+5 years of experience with progressive responsibility a Demand Planner in the manufacturing industry

Experience in transnational or US manufacturing companies .

Possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables and formula calculations). SAP experience is preferred.

About the role

The Planner Partner is responsible for developing and facilitating the demand planning process within the region. This involves partnering with Sales Teams on the 0-12 month forecast and the EUM Lead on the 12-24 month forecast. The role aims to provide analytical-driven insights, monitor, and continually improve forecast accuracy, and deliver service excellence while maintaining a strong focus on costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning, Establishing and maintain finished goods materials planning parameters (safety stock, reorder point quantities, lot sizes, forecast, lead times, etc.) so that finished goods availability levels and working capital targets are in line with monthly S&OP expectations.

Effectively communicate planning strategies with cross-functional partners.

Incorporate any product phase-out plans and/or introduction of new products within materials planning parameters to minimize surplus and obsolete materials.

Manage and improve forecast accuracy and forecast bias KPIs.

Manage SKU portfolio globally by maintaining proper master data, inventory strategy, and order fulfillment across all locations.

Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.

Lead the Demand Review Process within the Sales and Operations Planning.

Plan and execute purchase order creation and material confirmation.

Review and resolve SAP exception messages on a daily basis.

Responsible for working with Quality, Sales, Finance, and Warehouse to resolve receiving issues, material rejects, quality issues, or vendor return issues.

Manage SKU portfolio globally by maintaining proper master data, inventory strategy, and order fulfillment across all locations.
