Manufacturing company is looking for a Warehouse Manager
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the administration and operation of the warehouse, plans, directs, and implement strategies for the warehouse and inventory facilitating efficient operations across the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the entire operation of our manufacturing warehouse.
- Implements strategies to have a clean, organize and efficient inventory control.
- Oversees that materials are received, stored, shipped, packed and reported in accordance with established procedures.
- Leads and supervises warehouse staff.
- Reviews effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and material flow.
- Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of warehouse, makes and implements strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Prepares and implements the budget for warehouse, MRO, shipping, receiving.
- Partner with local and remote teams of planning, quality, engineering, operational excellence, etc.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory control to ensure adequate product availability and minimize losses due to obsolescence or breakage. This involves performing cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and demand trend analysis.
- Receiving and storage: Coordinate the receipt of incoming products, verify their accuracy and ensure their proper storage. This includes assigning storage locations and implementing them in our system.
- Distribution management: Manages the preparation of orders and distribution of outbound products, ensuring accuracy and punctuality in delivery, working closely with transportation suppliers to optimize delivery routes.
- Staff Leading: Direct, supervise, and motivate the team of warehouse employees, including shift scheduling, staff training, and conflict resolution. Promote a safe and productive work environment.
- Regulatory compliance: Guarantee compliance with all safety regulations and standards (CTPAT, OAS, others), health and environment, related to warehouse operations. This may include implementing security procedures and participating in compliance audits.
- IMMEX compliance: manages all Immex warehouse requirements and assure Immex inventory is controlled correctly.
- Process optimization: Identify opportunities for continuous improvements in operational efficiency and cost reduction, through best practice implementations, such as warehouse management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, or equivalent experience in field.
- Advanced English business level.
- Minimum 6 years as Warehouse Manager or similar experience.
- Strong knowledge in IMMEX program.
- Expertise in warehouse management and implementation procedures and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of ERP, warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong leadership.
- Effective communication, presentation and conflict management skills.
- Ability to drive change in a positive manner despite challenges to timelines, deliverables, and resources.
