We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients, building long-term relationships, and promoting our trucking and logistics services. You will work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure our clients receive the best possible transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, target, and pursue new sales opportunities to increase company revenue.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Present and promote our trucking and logistics services to potential customers, demonstrating the benefits and value propositions of our offerings.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Provide timely feedback and reports on sales activity to management.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance company visibility and generate leads.
Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and transportation technologies.
Requirements:
Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably in the trucking, logistics, or transportation industry.
Strong understanding of transportation services, logistics, and supply chain management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Goal-oriented with a strong drive for results.
